As the Lead Teacher for all our programs, Miss Gail has been a part of the fabric of our preschool since 2006. Graduating from UBC with a Bachelor of Education in French Immersion was just the beginning of fulfilling her childhood desire to become a teacher. Using her creativity, love of life and nurturing spirit, she provides a dynamic place to learn. Recently becoming trained in Yoga for Young Children, she uses her love of movement to add another layer to the program with “Body Stories”. Along with her 3 fabulous daughters, Miss Gail has a passion for yoga, playing soccer, her dog, cooking, and literature.
Miss Jodi has been with Scarboro preschool since 2009. She wears two hats helping shape this wonderful program, as Director of the Preschool and as Teaching Assistant in the 4yr old program. Jodi has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Social Work from the University of Calgary, spending over 25 years in preschool and out of school care settings. Away from preschool she and her husband along with 3 lovely children love spending time outdoors camping, skiing, and hiking.
Miss Lindie is very excited to be working with Miss Gail in the 3-year-old classroom.
She is a former lawyer who decided to pursue her passion for working with children when she moved to Canada from South Africa in 2019. She is a child behaviour specialist, parent coach and still does a little bit of legal work.
Miss Lindie is happily married, with two daughters aged 10 and 12. She and her family love the outdoors and can be found on their bikes, out for a walk and, when she's feeling brave, doing some skiing.
Miss Andrea has been with Scarboro Preschool since 2003 as our Music Specialist. She graduated with honors as a Performance Major from the Berkley-affiliated Selkirk College Music Program, Miss Andrea is also certified as a Teacher's Assistant with vast experience in the classroom. Scarboro Preschool is fortunate to have Miss Andrea’s talents for all our of classes. It's her voice you hear singing the Sunalta School Song!
